Now fans think that the person will be killed in a case of mistaken identity.

Newcomer and soap villain Nish Panesar has been the most popular victim who will die this Christmas.

Fans have speculated that the women will team up to ensure Suki gets her happy ending with Eve.

Others think they will team up to bring his and Ravi's hold on Keanu to an end.

But after Vinny admitted that he trashed the Queen Vic and destroyed late Mick Carter belongings - could be the one they target, or even the one they kill?

Or will Nish die trying to protect his son?

Taking to Twitter, one said: "Is it just me or is it going to be Vinny dead at Christmas @bbceastenders #Eastenders."

Another wrote: "I have just had a thought is it Vinny at Christmas?"

EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw has teased the man could literally be anyone.

He previously told the press: "As we saw in the flash-forward scene, there are six women stood over a dead body, which we know is male.

"Over the next ten months, expect to see each of these women have huge stories, involving potential victims, which will all collide at Christmas. EastEnders has always had strong women at its heart.

"It made sense to throw some of our most iconic female characters into a huge storyline together that has never been seen before.

"These women are neighbours, they live on the same square, but we rarely seem them all interact in such a huge way."

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One and iPlayer.
