Holly Willoughby looks glum as she’s seen for the first time since ‘cutting ties’ with Phillip Schofield

HOLLY Willoughby looked downcast as she stepped out for the first time amid reports she has 'cut ties' with her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.

The 42 year-old presenter appeared deep in thought as she ran some errands in Hampshire, keeping her eyes covered in a pair of black sunglasses.

At one point she had her head buried in her phone and seemed distracted as she walked down the street.

Holly sported her blonde tresses tied back and sported a camel coloured trench coat paired with frayed jeans and white trainers.

The outfit was finished off with a Gucci horsebit leather shoulder bag, worth an impressive £2,500.

Her outing comes amid reports Holly has 'cut ties' with Phillip and brought their 15-year friendship to an end.

The mum-of-three has made the decision to sever links with her This Morning co-host of 14 years, the Mail on Sunday reports.

It's understood Holly is 'devastated' over the move but was left blindsided when Phil, 61, released a statement on their feud without consulting her.

The publication reports bosses behind the scenes of the ITV show are now fearful Holly will be "too upset" to present on Monday's show.

The Sun has contacted reps for both Holly and Phillip.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for This Morning previously refused to confirm whether Phillip would be on the programme on Monday.

It comes after The Sun first reported how the TV stars' relationship was under strain.

Phillip confronted his co-star Holly in a tense phone call shortly after their rift was made public.

Phil had been fearful he could be axed by from the ITV daytime show over their widening feud.

ITV bosses are said to be holding 'crisis talks' on what the next steps will be.

Peace talks that were to be held between Holly and Phil have been cancelled.

Holly has made it clear to the broadcaster that she would host This Morning without Phil if he left, insisting they were “separate entities”.

Sources also let on how tensions between Holly and Phil had become so palpable, it was apparent to staff on set that they were barely speaking when the cameras weren’t rolling.

Phil lobbied for Holly to join This Morning as co-presenter when Fern Britton, 65, left the show.

Holly joined him in 2009 and the pair — who also co-host Dancing on Ice — have earned 12 National Television Awards between them.
