I was a star on Geordie Shore – I swapped wild partying for working 9-5 at a gas company

GEORDIE Shore star Anthony Kennedy has turned his back on partying for a living in favour of something much more traditional.

He joined Geordie Shore for series 21 in 2020 but now makes a living in a 9-5 setting.

Ant previously took to social media to reveal he was hiring for his team at Northern Gas and Power.

He wrote: "Come join us at Northern Gas & Power!! 💥 UK’s Number one energy consultancy!

"If your extremely motivated, target driven and looking to progress your career in sales please email me your CV."

The Sun revealed earlier this year that Geordie Shore had been axed after 12 years due to plummeting ratings.

More on Geordie Shore

A source said: “MTV chiefs have decided the time has come to call it a day on Geordie Shore.

“The already commissioned series, which is the show's 24th, will go ahead and the reunion will go ahead as planned later this summer.

"But once those have been filmed MTV have decided to rest the series and will not be commissioning any more."

During his time on the show Ant opened up about being attacked while on holiday in Ibiza and left with gruesome injuries.

After being jumped by two men in a bar, he wrote on Instagram: "I was attacked by a man and his friend in Lineker sports bar in San Antonio Ibiza! Shout out to the manager there he was super helpful.

"This was an completely unprovoked attack I was simply dancing on a night out enjoying the first night of my holiday. So anyone asking if I have been fighting the answer is no, no I wasn’t fighting, I was brutally attacked!"

In emotional Geordie Shore scenes aired afterwards, Ant was seen revealing his sadness after none of his co-stars visited him in the hospital.
