I’m A Celeb’s Andy Whyment makes shocking claim about Janice Dickinson’s ‘abusive’ behaviour towards Ant and Dec
CORONATION Street legend Andy Whyment has revealed I’m A Celebrity…South Africa battleaxe Janice Dickinson “abused” show hosts Ant and Dec as she ran a reign of terror over the all stars camp.
Andy - who plays much-loved character Kirk Sutherland - clashed with the supermodel and after leaving camp last night has now exposed the extent of her “rude” behaviour.
In an exclusive chat, Andy told me: “I’m just a normal down to earth guy and I just don’t like it when people are rude.
“When Ant and Dec came in early doors she was talking about what they were wearing and saying ‘you look terrible’ and it’s like, these are the hosts of the show.
“These are massive stars in the UK and you’re just blatantly abusing them on national television.
“I know Janice is a really, really famous person whereas I’m just Kirk from Corrie but manners cost nothing.”

After 23 years on Britain’s biggest soap - which is known for it’s strong women - and a stint on The Royle Family, Andy is no stranger to big names.
He went on: “I was in the jungle with Caitlyn Jenner in 2019 and she’s a massive star and she wasn’t rude like Janice. I don’t think there’s any need for it.
“I don’t know if it’s for the cameras or something.
“There were times when she was lying in bed and then Ant and Dec would come in and she’d jump up.”

Viewers of the South Africa special rushed to back Andy online after he finally stood up to Janice when she ranted that he wouldn’t make her a wreath.
She moaned to Myleene Klass: “He doesn't want to do anything for me. He hates me.”
Andy commented: “I’ve seen a lot of the reaction on Twitter and Instagram, people saying like ‘yes Andy, standing up to her’
“It wasn’t about standing up to her, I’m not that kind of person, I'm not going to start an argument with a 68 year old woman. But it just got my back up.
“The day before we’d walked up to the waterfall and it was quite a long walk with rocks and I linked her arm the whole way. So for her to turn around and say I don’t want to do anything for her… and I talked to her quite a lot.”
Andy and Janice had returned to I’m A Celebrity for a second time as part of a one-off, pre recorded special set in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
But he had to leave in a Survival Trial against Myleene, Jordan Banjo and Georgia Toffolo.
Lack of strategy in camp meant Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney, as leaders, ended up asking for volunteers.
Andy said: “Four of us had to do it. So I was like, I'll make it easy for you, I don't mind.
“Ant and Dec turned to us and said ‘we’re gutted to see you four down here’ and I actually said ‘if us four didn’t stick our hands up you wouldn’t have had a trial’.
“They didn’t show that, but Ant and Dec were gutted as well.
“It’s frustrating me a bit that I left doing three trials and Janice didn’t do one trial and she was still in there. That was the frustrating thing.
“And the fact she turned round and blatantly said ‘I don’t want to do it’

“It’s annoying knowing she’s there and I’ve gone, but listen it is what it is
“At least when I came out I got a three course meal and a couple of beers and got to speak to my wife and the kids.”
