Carol Kirkwood shows off incredible curves in figure-hugging dress as she returns to BBC Breakfast

BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood put her curves on display in a purple dress as she returned to the show this morning.

The presenter looked lovely as she rocked a bright purple ensemble.

Returning to viewers screens this morning, Carol, 60, was all smiles as she explained the upcoming weather forecast.

She could be seen sporting her statement blonde locks styled into a glamorous look, paired with the short-sleeved dress that complimented her figure.

The dress flaunted a cut-out section around the neck-line and appeared to be made out of bodycon material which sculpted her waist.

Much to the delight of her fans, who took to social media to praise her, with one writing: "Looking gorgeous shame about the weather xxx."

"Morning lovely, not as beautiful as you or bright," exclaimed a second.

Chatting to her usual red-sofa co-hosts Jon Kay and Sally Nugent, Carol revealed that yesterday was the "warmest day of the year so far."

However, it seems it isn't going to be all sunny weather this week, as she warned: "If you're going out, take your brolly with you.

"It's going to bet wet, we've got rain moving from the West to the East."

Carol's figure-hugging outfit comes after she was nowhere to be seen when it came to the weather updates last week.

Over the weekend, Carol and Jon seemed to celebrate the Coronation in style, enjoying a street party filled with cake.

The pair snapped selfies whilst filming for a BBC special, as Jon wrote to social media: "BBC Breakfast becomes BBC Lunch - I’m with our Queen ⁦Carol Kirkwood at a street party in London for a BBC special."

Following the festivities, Carol took to Twitter to send her fans best wishes, writing: "Whatever you are doing today, I hope you are having FUN! ‘See’ you in the morning xxx," followed by several love-heart emojis.

Pleased to hear about her return, one follower wrote: "Glad to have you back."

A second added: "Glad you'll be on tomorrow! You're our favourite Breakfast weather person!x"
