Claire Sweeney, 52, looks amazing in curve hugging red dress as Brookside legend glams up on night out
CLAIRE Sweeney looked stunning in a striking asymmetric red dress as she hit the town with her pals.
The Brookside legend, 52 - known for playing feisty Lindsey Corkhill - beamed in her chic gown with a hemline which reached to the floor.
Claire styled her blonde locks poker-straight and made sure both her pop of lip colour - and her manicure - matched her frock.
She beamed for the camera as she posed with pal Stavros Agapiou and a mutual friend.
The soap star gushed in her Instagram caption: "Happy Birthday darling," before tagging Stavros' account and a red love heart.
It came after Claire's new role in ITV soap Coronation Street was revealed.

The soap icon and West End star will play mechanic Tyrone Dobbs’ mum Cassie, making her debut in June.
Claire said: “Even though I’ve enjoyed an amazingly career, being in Coronation Street is, to me, better than being cast in a Hollywood movie.”
The show will be the fourth soap added to her long CV – she has also had roles in Holby City and Doctors.

She showed off her enviable curves in aqua swimwear as she soaked up the sun in the Caribbean.
During her winter sunshine break, she also sported a bright pink swimsuit late last week while also on the beach.
Last year Claire revealed she had stopped weighing herself after saying scales can "wreck our heads".
She posted a chart on Instagram showing her weight as well as other body measurements, with the image showing she had dropped from 12.06 stone to 11.86 stone in just two days.
Claire wrote: "Ok so this is mental!!! 6lbs lost in just two days.
"Goes to show, don’t rely on the scales. It could be time of day you weigh yourself, how you position them, time of the month. Water retention, all make the difference."
She concluded: "I’m gonna use my favourite Jeans as a gauge from now on. No wonder scales can wreck our heads. Favourite jeans and photo diary from now on."
