Helen cried after volunteering for a trial

It came as Helen bravely volunteered to do an escape room style trial with Paul Burrell.

She explained: "For me personally, I wanted to come back here and I wanted to be able to do the trials a lot better than I did last time… You change so much in 10 years.”

But Helen then turned emotional after reflecting on Myleene Klass telling her she had a 'superpower' during scary trials because her children were behind her.

"This is a really huge deal for me to come out here because I am never away from my babies. My little boy is only one and he is so cute."

She then became teary as she covered her face and then dabbed at her eyes.

Helen is mum to Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and Charlie, one, with her ex Scott Sinclair.

"He is so cute," she repeated about her son, still choked. "But I have got my four year old and I have got my seven year old."

Helen then cried again and tried to gather her thoughts.

She added: "Sorry. But yeah I think it is just strange because when you are a mum, you are so used to being with them all the time. But I just want to go out there and give it a good go.";

It comes as ITV viewers slammed Helen's camp mate Joe Swash for his treatment of the former Corrie star.

Joe, 41, came under fire from viewers after he picked Janice Dickinson over Helen when choosing team members for his new 'pride'.

The campmates had been told they would be split into two 'prides', with pride leaders and newbies Joe and Dean Gaffney taking it in turns to choose their team.

Joe was first to select his, opting for former Olympic athlete Fatima Whitbread, 62. Dean chose Jordan Banjo, 30, first.

The last two standing fell on Joe's turn, with him opting for US model Janice, 68, over 32-year-old Helen, as he said she 'scared him more'.

Soap star Helen then looked awkward, before walking over to join Dean's 'pride'.
