EastEnders actor Aidan O’Callaghan returns to ‘normal job’ after exit as evil rapist Lewis

EASTENDERs actor Aidan O'Callaghan has returned to his 'normal job' as a pharmacist after playing evil rapist Lewis Butler.

Fans of the BBC soap will remember twisted Lewis raped Ben Mitchell back in April 2022, destroying the poor lad's life in the process.

Since leaving the soap in August that year, actor Aidan has since gone on to star in The Witcher Blood Origin on Netflix.

But between his acting gigs, Aidan also works as a pharmacist, which he qualified as before he found soap fame.

Aidan confirmed he was back at his other day job on social media, sharing a surprising picture on instagram.

It showed the 34 year-old Irish actor at his pharmacy, holding a duckling.

"Meanwhile in my other job a mother duck has abandoned her duckling," he caption the snap, followed by a series of crying emojis.

Aidan also looked world's away from Lewis in the snap, sporting a pair of hipster-style round specs.

The actor studied pharmacy at Trinity College, Dublin and still locums as a pharmacist now.

Aidan made his screen debut in the film Somatic in 2016, where he played the role of Young George Watson.

He has also appeared in Wolfe (2021), The Rook (2019), Britain's Deadliest Lovers (2016) and Home Alone (2017).

While he has not been in EastEnders for several months, his character was recently mentioned again on screen.

Ben was stunned to learn Lewis had raped someone else, sending him into a new downward spiral.
