Inside Amber Turner and Dan Edgar’s bitter rows over money that split Towie couple after six years
AMBER Turner and Dan Edgar had bitter rows over money that led to the end of their relationship, The Sun can reveal.
Sources close to the former couple, who announced their break-up after six years together yesterday, say that finances caused major tension between the pair.
A source revealed: "Amber was the main breadwinner in the relationship and it created a divide between them.
"She brought in a lot of money from influencer deals on social media and it created an inequality. Amber wanted Dan to have a greater drive and focus on achieving more financially, but he was very laid back and also a lot more content with a simpler life.
"For his part, Dan found it annoying that Amber was so focused on him getting more sponsorship deals or doing more club appearances. He felt like he was contributing to their lives together and that she was being unfair.
"Every time they argued about it, Amber told him it wasn't so much about what he earned, but that she wanted him to be more ambitious. Dan took it very personally and felt like she was trying to change him.

"Eventually the arguments around the subject became more and more frequent. They were both exhausted by it, but in the end, Amber was the one who called time on the relationship. She had just had enough."
The Sun has approached reps for Amber and Dan for comment.
There were, however, also other factors at play in the break-up too.
As The Sun reported earlier, Amber was also fed up of Dan not proposing.

Now The Sun can reveal Amber grew tired of waiting to take their relationship to the next step.
A source told The Sun: "Amber has been desperate to settle down for years now, but Dan has always been hesitant.
"She was convinced a proposal would be coming soon after they moved into their dream home together at the end of last year.
"But Dan has failed to make the changes he promised to make for Amber and still seems undecided about the future.
"Amber was always willing to give Dan time as he shied away from commitment, but she lost patience.
"She knows she wants to get married and have children. She didn't want to waste anymore time on someone who wasn't ready."
In the latest series of Towie - which was filmed three months ago - Amber admitted they'd gone through a "s*** time".
In a conversation with Dan and her best friends Courtney Green and Chloe Meadows, Amber said "things are good" between them after a setback.
"Sometimes you just need to go through a bit of a s*** time to find out what you want," she said.
Confessing he'd had to change for his girlfriend, Dan added: "I think I needed to make some changes.
