Tipping Point contestant left red-faced as ‘sneaky’ tactic massively backfires – leaving fans in hysterics
ONE contestant on today's episode of Tipping Point was left red-faced after his tactic completely backfired.
Ben Shephard was back to hold court on the ITV quiz favourite, which returned to its usual timeslot after receiving the boot yesterday.

Just minutes into the show, player Sanjay appeared to try and one-up his fellow player Kim but it quickly backfired for the quizzing hopeful.
Sanjay, an NHS IT support technician from County Durham, initally got off to a good start when he became the first of the team to bank any money.
After answering a question about ITV contest Britain's Got Talent correctly, he managed to add £100 to his prize pot.
He appeared to be on a hot streak when he also answered the next question about Wimbledon correct too but rather than playing for himself, Sanjay opted to move the pressure to someone else.

Telling host Ben, he said: "I think I'll pass to Kim."
Kim, a retired housekeeper from Yorkshire, seemed irked as she unconvincingly muttered back: "Thank you."
Ben later asked her to choose a drop zone to see if Sanjay "had made a mistake" and it turns out Ben was right.
Not only did Sanjay pass up the opportunity to win some money, as Kim placed her counter into the machine, she was left having the last laugh when she gained £500 from Sanjay's choice.

Sanjay was left red-faced and embarrassed as Kim went from nothing up to £500 and became the leader amongst the players.
Kim giggled as she excitedly said: "Oh my word!"
Looking displeased, Sanjay attempted to avoid acknowledging the error of his ways.
Talking to Twitter to chat about the moment, many were left in hysterics at Sanjay's untimely blunder.
One said: "Well Sanjay that went well."
Another sarcastically added: "Great passing, Sanjay (!)"
As a third joked: "Well done Sanjay good pass."
Kim's impressive run wasn't over as she later acquired a further £1,000 just moments later after she encountered a double counter.
This kept Kim firmly in pole position on the show and she moved through to the final.
In the final, Kim was faced with taking home the £3,200 she had earned throughout her time in the contest or playing for the £10,000 trade.

With the star counter hanging on the edge, Kim opted for the trade after saying that she "came with nothing" and so therefore would accept "going home with nothing".
However, Kim's counters failed to win for her and she was left walking away with nothing.
