CORONATION Street fans all had the same complaint after a warning about "upsetting scenes."
ITV viewers were left seriously distracted during the opening scene in Monday episode of Coronation Street.
Sally and Tim Metcalfe's home décor was a talking point in the opening scene as the first thing viewers saw after the opening credits was a commemorative King Charles III plate to mark the coronation of His Majesty this weekend.
The large plate took pride of place in the home, along with a display of Union Jack hand-waving flags ahead of this weekend's historic event.
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the patriotic setting.
One said: "Oh FFS forgot all the soaps will be loaded with coronation stuff now."

Also in Monday's episode, viewers have been left convinced they have rumbled the identity of evil Stephen Reid's next victim.
Fearing that Stephen is only marrying Elaine for her savings, Tim expressed his concern to Sally.
Blissfully unaware that Tim is right, Elaine hurried the plans along and insisted they fly to Vegas that afternoon and elope.
Stephen's tells the family of his plan to sign a pre-nup, in order to keep all funds separate.
He insisted that fighting over money should not stop the pair from getting married.
However, viewers were left unconvinced by Stephen's ways and it turned out he appeared to have a much more sinister plan brewing.
Alone at Underworld, he phoned Elaine to tell her he would be home soon.
As the camera panned around, Stephen could be seen filling out a life insurance policy under the name, 'Elaine Jones'.
This sparked fresh fear among fans that the nasty murderer had planned another grisly ending for his so-called wife as the only way to get his hands on her cash.
