Emmerdale fans convinced soap legend is set for shock return as Nicky’s mum
EMMERDALE fans suspect Nicky Milligan's mother may be revealed to be an iconic soap legend - and hope she will make an appearance in the village very soon.
In a recent episode, Nicky (Lewis Cope) begged his dad Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) to forget about his revenge plan against Kim Tate (Claire King), but he threatened his son to think about his mum being left on the streets because of his cowardice.
Now fans think they have sussed the identity of Nicky's mum as the iconic Sadie King, played by Patsy Kensit.
Sharing a theory in an Emmerdale forum, one Reddit user said: "So Caleb is the son of Faith Dingle and Frank Tate, his son is Nicky, whose mother we don’t know yet. My suspicion is that Nicky’s mother is Sadie King.
"Then maybe we can finally have that Kim vs Sadie showdown we were promised back in the early 00s. It’ll also be a cool way to have Nicky be a Dingle, Tate and King."
Another agreed: "I thought about Sadie King too which be interesting since she has a history with Cain also and people in the village too and imagine if she feuds with Kim Tate.

"And, since Patsy Kensit has recently had a role in EastEnders she [might] be down for a return to Emmerdale.
"Just like the actress who plays Kim Tate was on Corrie for a bit and then returned to Emmerdale. I got a feeling it got to be someone who has ties to the village."
Sadie King appeared in the show from 2004 to 2006.
She was married to Jimmy King and involved in an infamous feud with Charity Dingle.

Patsy won the Best Bitch accolade for her portrayal of Sadie at the 2005 and 2006 Inside Soap Awards.
The episode featuring Sadie and Cain's exit - where they kidnap Tom King and Cain appears to shoot Sadie - received 37 complaints to media regulator Ofcom at the time.
ITV defended the storyline by saying it was one of the most "exciting and successful" events in the serial's history as 8.5 million viewers tuned in for the episode.
They added: "Whilst Emmerdale stories do not condone violent acts, it need not and should not shy away from them."
Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available on ITVX.
