I’m A Celebrity star makes surprise career move as they make shock bid for No 1
I'm A Celebrity star Russell Kane has made a surprise career move as he is aiming to top the music charts.
The comedian, 47, who fronted the jungle reality show's ITV2 spin-off from 2009-2011, is releasing his first single today (April 28).
Russell is hoping to chart with his track, Laundry Fight, next week - and the song was inspired by arguments with his wife Lindsey Cole over leaving her underwear on the floor.
The song has been produced by some heavyweight dance music producers, including Nick Bridges who has worked with Bodyrox and N-Dubz and Si Hulbert, who was written for One Direction and Ed Sheeran.
The track first came to life when Russell shared a freestyle rap on his social media, spitting some rhymes about the washing row in his house.
Now he has shot a video for the number, which is a parody of various RnB clips and sees actress and comedian Verona Rose playing his partner.

But Russell is not just trying to make it as a pop star - the song is actually a charity track, with all streaming and sales revenue going to suicide prevention charity, (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
Russell is an ambassador for the organisation and is hoping for a big hit to raise as much money and awareness for the campaign as possible.
Russell said: I'm buzzing like my wife's toy drawer to be making music for the first time in my life, and for such an amazing cause. The more we can get people talking and communicating the healthier we become.
"CALM is such a superb charity and I'm proud (and a bit emotional) to be fundraising for them - even if it has taken the form of my mid-life crisis with me rapping."
