Dalgliesh viewers have A LOT of complaints as series two of the channel 5 thriller kicks off
VIEWERS of the channel 5 thriller Dalgliesh have taken to social media to launch a series of complaints.
The drama, based in 1970's England, follows detective Adam Dalgliesh who sets out to solve a number of mysterious crimes.
But now, during the second series of the crime drama, fans have voiced their thoughts on a number of issues surrounding Thursday night's episode.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Accents all over the place in this new series. Hoping they settle down soon."
While another wrote: "I don't reckon he'd have pronounced "harrass" in that way."
But it wasn't simply the lack of authenticity that had viewers penning their opinion on social media - the lack of lighting also became a bone of contention.

One viewer said: "#dalgliesh just can't get into this at all. The dingy lighting doesn't help. May watch I'm A Celeb instead."
And another added: "Grew up in the 1970s & I do remember that we had lightbulbs even if parents would say "turn the bl**dy lights off. It's like Blackpool illuminations."
They went on to add: "No one has any indoor lighting on in the show. It's like watching indoor scenes from Larkrise to Candleford."
The first series of the crime drama aired in 2021 based on the mystery novels by PD James and stars Bertie Carvel as Adam Dalgliesh.
