BBC Countryfile viewers rip into Royal special ahead of King Charles’ Coronation
BBC Countryfile viewers have slammed the Royal special episode ahead of King Charles' Coronation.
The latest episode of the programme focused on the King's love for the countryside and saw hosts, Charlotte and Hamza visit Dumfries house.
Charlotte met with Elizabeth Buchanan, a farmer who had a "unique" link to King Charles.
The former King's advisor on agriculture worked as his private secretary from 2005 to 2008.
Elizabeth admitted: "It was the hardest, most demanding job I have ever done in my life because he works so hard, up until 10 it's papers, papers, papers, 10 it kicks off publicly.
"Then it's dinner and after that, he's back at his desk...it's constant work and all of it is for other people."

But viewers didn't seem too happy about the royal themed episode, with a few calling the segment "royalist propaganda", as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "I know I whinge about Countryfile but I just find it very intense and always pushing an agenda."
Another added: "Countryfile is honestly just royalist propaganda!"
A third echoed: "Here were go! Countryfile full on royalist propaganda!"

Elsewhere in the episode, Hamza, learned about the estate's 2,000-acre transformation to benefit wildlife, including hedgehogs.
