Saffron, 30, told The Sun: "My dad's a black cab driver so that's what he does by day, but Towie suits him. He loves a gossip and a laugh.

She added: "Everyone loves him. If he goes to the local curry house they'll say 'you're the guy from Towie' and he'll say 'yeah, want a picture?'

They'd been friends for eight years before they started filming together and now no longer speak.
Saffron opened up about the rift, admitting they fell out over a man.

She revealed: "My ex, I was with him for two years. I met him in Spain and it was a bit of a whirlwind.
"But before I knew her, when Gemma was 21, she went on three dates with him, twelve years before. I didn't know!
"I told her, 'I've started seeing someone'. I think maybe she always had a bit of a thing for him. She was like: ‘Nah, I am not having it'."
"We’ve never spoken since," Saffron added, revealing there was only "one phone call" four months after the initial fall out, but that Gemma has "never reached out" since then.
