And during a recent episode one of the show's presenters, Lee Juggurnauth was left red-faced.

The 35-year-old was tasked with finding Harriet her dream holiday home in Spain.

Lee setup viewings for five potential properties within her budget of £110,000 in Costa Blanca.

However, one property he showed Harriet didn't go down well and Lee was left mortified.

Harriet, 34, was accompanied by her friend for the property search.

Within seconds of the pals crossing the threshold Harriet declared the house made her feel "claustrophobic".

She made it clear to Lee that it was a definite no, before bluntly adding: "It's still too small, and I don't like the arches and the little rooms."

After the tense exchange which left Lee red-faced, he asked Harriet if she wanted to view the remainder of the property - which she immediately "no".

Meanwhile, in another episode of A Place in the Sun, Lee feared he was about to be "hit" by a guest after he suggested to walk instead of drive.

He was joined by married couple Lynn and Barry from the West Midlands, who were searching for their new home in Spain's Costa Blanca.

With a budget of £180,000, they wanted a place with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private pool, and plenty of space for their two cats Bob and Marley.

A Place in the Sun airs on Channel 4.
