HORROR fans simply can't cope with terrifying flick Countdown which has hit Amazon Prime.

The 2019 movie, which lasts a 90 terrifying minutes, has been given four stars on the streaming service.

Yet despite the impressive Amazon Prime rating, fans have been left freaked out by the plotline, which is centred on a nurse.

The show blurb details how she "downloads an app that claims to predict the moment a person will die."

It continues to preview the spine-tingling plotline and states: "It tells her she only has three days to live.

"With the clock ticking and a figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out."

One fan took to Twitter to exclaim: "Went to watch #CountdownMovie with my friends and spent the movie with my face hidden in one's shoulder because that s**t terrified the f**k out of me why do I do this to myself now I can't sleep."

Another posted a GIF of someone shielding their face and added: "Me while I was watching #countdownmovie. I jumped more than twice this movie is something else….I wonder if there’s a part 2 coming out soon because the ending."

A third mused: "I was expecting it to be like Happy Death Day (funny/ kinda scary.)

"I JUMPED AT EVERY SINGLE SCARE.

"Ending was pretty predictable. It was good-I’d watch it again if I wasn’t petrified.

"All the different characters were great. Go see it."

Previously, fans were left "screaming at the screen" after watching horror Smile on the same platform.

They were also "scared to death" 10 minutes into The Wailing.

Meanwhile others simply "couldn't sleep" after tuning in to Black Phone.
