The Chase viewers call for ‘axe’ as they fume at producers for ‘sleepy’ contestants
VIEWERS of The Chase have called for the newest episode of the series to be axed.
Fans of the long-running ITV gameshow were left fuming at producers for their choice of contestants.
Reise, 27, Catherine, 38, 36-year-old Donna from Angus, and 64-year-old Bob from Hertfordshire were the latest aspiring quizzers to try to overcome The Chasers.
The team had a rocky start after Bob was eliminated by Mark Labbett, 57, in his cash builder round whilst Donna and Catherine only won £1000 each.
Reise also won his cash builder round, but despite saying it would be a 'good matchup' to face The Beast, he decided to take the lower offer of £1,000.
Meaning when it came to the final round, a measly £3,000 was the groups total prize pot on The Chase.

Viewers took to social media to express their anger at what they deemed as an uncompetitive episode.
One fan noted: "This team are sleeepppyyy #TheChase."
Another exclaimed: "This lot aren’t winning today are they #TheChase."
A third fumed: "Crikey. Why bother taking the train/plane to get there? They’re going to be out of pocket if this continues. #TheChase."
