Helen and the other campmates all survived the Australian jungle, but the show now promises to "test them live never before".

ITV has promised "bigger and tougher challenges" in the "harsher" environment of the South African outback.

With no public vote, the stars will be competing against each other to be crowned the first ever "I'm A Celebrity Legend".

Helen, who has rekindled her relationship with long-term partner Scott Sinclair, admitted that she was going to find it tough being away from her little ones.

"I am nervous about leaving my children whilst I go off and film the series, but I've made them little cards to open for when I'm away."

She and Scott share Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and Charlie, two.

Helen, who played Rosie Webster on the soap, was voted by the public to take part in most of the trials when she was on the show in 2012.

Back then she confessed that she was a "scaredy cat", and she says that nothing has changed there.

"I am not saying I am going to go in and be a jungle warrior and be absolutely amazing because I will not.

"Yes I will be scared but I will have a go and will be a lot better than last time," she said.

She will be joined by Carol Vorderman, Princess Diana's former butler Paul Burrell, 64, Diversity dancer Jordan Banjo, 30, Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder, 60, retired javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread, 62, and former English international cricketer Phil Tufnell, 56.

The actress sizzled in a classy red dress for a glamorous day out at Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival at Aintree Racecourse, in Liverpool.

The mum-of-three was pictured in a floor-length red dress that hung off one shoulder.

The stunning outfit had a frilled skirt at the bottom and a suited-up button top.

Helen also wore a gorgeous black and white headpiece which she paired with a black and silver clutch bag and a pair of black stiletto heels.

She finished it off with a pair of long gold earings and had her hair pulled back in a tight bun.

She glammed up for the day out which saw many famous faces head to the racecourse.
