BRITAIN'S Got Talent viewers went wild as the show joined forces with a popular ITV soap tonight.

The second instalment of this year's series of BGT hit our screens tonight after yesterday evening's epic first episode.

Ant and Dec, and the judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Bruno Tunioli and Alesha Dixon appeared on the famous cobbles of Coronation Street in the opening scenes today.

The famous faces bumped into a number of the show's characters, including Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Kirk Sutherland (Andy Whyment).

Many flocked to Twitter to share the love.

One wrote: "Great start to #BGT loving the coronation street sketch!"

A second said: "That #Corrie sketch was brilliant."

"Obsessed with the random Corrie intro," a third chimed in.

A fourth tweeted: "When #BGT meets #Corrie," with four clapping emojis.
