STARS of multiple British soap opera's looked worlds away from the characters they played on screen.

The actresses of Coronation Street and Hollyoaks glammed up for Ladies Day at the Grand National.

Helen Flanagan, 32, took to social media to show off her striking outfit that she wore to the horse race.

She's best known for playing Rosie Webster in the Salford based soap, but she watched the horse racing looking nothing like her character.

The I'm A Celebrity star looked absolutely stunning in a red long sleeved one-shoulder dress.

She paired the black buttoned gown with a matching monochrome fascinator hat.

Underneath the classy headpiece she tied her hair back in a slick form as she completed the look with an elegant tasselled black clutch bag.

Meanwhile, her co-star Ellie Leach, 22, who is known for playing Faye Windass, beamed as she posed for photographers.

The actress gave a hint of her midriff in a plunging flowy pink gown as she attended the highly publicised event.

She styled her locks into thick curls as she posed in her palm print number, complete with puffy sleeves.

Elsewhere, former Hollyoaks star Sarah Jayne Dunn, 41 also stunned in her own jaw dropping pink gown.

The OnlyFans star opted for a strapped ruffled number as she flaunted her toned legs and black studded heels.

She showed off her blonde locks whilst she paired the look with a matching pink lipstick whilst sporting the giant bow on her outfit.

Other stars who were in attendance included Love Island names like series two star Kady McDermott, 27, who sent tongues wagging in a peach floral gown.

Casa Amor bombshell Joanna Chimonides, 26, also made an appearance as she posed alongside Kady in a complimentary mini-dress.
