Fronted by Ben Shephard, the show usually airs each weekday at 4pm.

However, owing to this week's coverage of the horse racing, ITV bosses were forced to scrap airing yesterday;s episode in order to focus on the live sporting event.

Often when the broadcaster shows coverage of the live equestrian events, such as the Grand National, the quiz show can usually be found in an alternative timeslot but fans were left disappointed when ITV decided to axe airing the show altogether yesterday.

It meant that viewers were forced to go without their late afternoon quizzing fix.

To soften the blow, ITV still aired fellow quiz show The Chase at 5pm.

It comes as show host Ben recently revealed a number of secrets from behind the scenes of the game.

In a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the show, Ben shared how the crew appear to have a secret code.

He posted a video showing the producers and editors in the gallery all making the same hand gestures as he opened the show.

It appears that the crew are mimicking what Ben is saying as he reads the autocue looking into camera.
