Ben Cooper worked with Michelle and Irene on the blue team, and Charles Hanson helped Matt and Martin on the red team.

The second group was made up of two music lovers who had both played in bands in the past.

It piqued the eye of antiques specialist Charles, who inquired whether the couple had a rap for Bargain Hunt. Matt and Martin confirmed this, much to his delight.

"Can you get in the mood and show us your rapping skills," quipped Charles.

They then started to rap throughout the episode, but those watching at home couldn't help but laugh at the ludicrous performance.

The pair began: "We're Matt and Martin Mack and we're here to Bargain Hunt. Looking for the gems and avoiding the junk.

"With expert help we're going to try to leave those others baffled. Do our best to beat the blues and win that Golden Gavel."

After asking Matt to lay down some beatboxing for him to rhyme to, Charles joined in with the following lines: "My name is Hanson Hands-on. Looking far and broad.

Viewers at home were left cringing at the hilarious rapping and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One wrote: "Middle aged men don't need to rap."

Another raged: "Please make it stop now! I've had enough."

A third added: "I can't watch this. I'm cringing."

"Now Charles is joining in. What is going on?," another wrote.
