Naga wore a colourful long dress which featured a top that had a lilac panel on one side and down one arm, with yellow stripes at the edge of both sleeves.

The skirt then featured panels of pink and blue, and the unusual garment quickly caught the attention of BBC Breakfast viewers.

Taking to Twitter, one asked: "where is your beautiful dress from today? It’s just so striking!"

Another wrote: "Beautiful long dress this morning.Long lengths really suit you."

A third tweeted: "morning hun and Charlie looking great both of you. Love your dress Naga xx."

Meanwhile a fourth joked: "Wow on seeing @TVNaga01 outfit this morning made me think of Star Trek uniforms, only think missing was the 'Spock' ears."

Also on today's show, Charlie, 60, and Naga were left in hysterics after reporter Tim Muffett had a door slammed in his face live on air.

Tim was in South London with Ainsley Harriott discussing the Coronation Big Lunch initiative while speaking to residents.

At one point, Ainsley, 66, waved and stepped inside the lady's house, while Tim stepped away to speak to the hosts.

But Charlie said: "Oh, Ainsley has gone in, he's really just gone right in."

Looking around, Tim was shocked to see the door had been shut, and said: "He's gone in? He's gone in…"

Naga laughed: "He makes friends very, very quickly."

Naga and Charlie burst out laughing, while Tim also chuckled at the fact the door had been shut on him mid-broadcast.
