HBO'S SUCCESSION started with series regular Logan Roy teetering on the edge of death.
Almost halfway through season four, the character finally met his end.
What happened to Succession character Logan Roy?
During season four, episode three of HBO's Succession, Logan Roy collapsed from a hemorrhagic stroke and was pronounced dead during Conor's wedding to Willa.
He was on a plane from New York City to Sweden when he was found unresponsive.
Previously, his death was hinted at in the show's premiere episode.
The "Connor's Wedding" episode of the series harkens back to the program's initial foretelling of Logan's ailing health.
"If it was a different kind of show, it could have gone into a more mysterious frame — 'Is Logan dead?' That kind of stuff.
"But I think Jesse realized it had to be the way it had to be and he made the decision to do that.
"I came in three episodes later [than when the rest of the episode was filmed] to do the death thing, and I didn’t do anything.
He added: "I just lay there and had the phone by my ear. We had to be very careful about giving away the game.
"If you think about it, the last image is a body bag. Anybody could be in that body bag…There’s a possibility.
"It was hard to keep a secret all that time. It was a long time.
"I’m very proud of myself because I’ve never been able to keep secrets and this is one secret I actually did rather well on.
"I do pop back and I have a couple of scenes later on, which is flashback stuff."
