Coronation Street viewers left devastated as Sarah Platt cheats on husband Adam Barlow

SARAH Platt gives into temptation with bad boy Damon Hay in a hotel behind husband Adam Barlow's back.

The Underworld PA (Tina O'Brien) was tired of being let down by her lawyer husband (Sam Robertson) who is working on Damon's (Ciarán Griffiths) case.

Sarah tried her best to fight off her feelings but she gave in when Damon offered to give her a lift to the hotel for her meeting and save her business deal.

Damon handed Sarah his card with his room number written on the back.

However, Sarah was angry with Damon and headed to his room to tear a strip off him for interfering.

But instead of taking her seriously, Damon was amused and gives her a glass of champagne.

Damon talked about how it was his his last day of freedom before being sent to prison.

He then opened up about his childhood and shared how he thinks it could be karma that he's getting sent down.

Once finished, Sarah threw caution to the wind and kissed Damon passionately.

A guilt-ridden Sarah flees before setting it straight with Damon that their hook-up was a one-time thing and that she loves Adam.

Later, Damon ran after Sarah in the street telling her she is her perfect woman and wishes he wasn't getting sent down.

While Sarah thinks it's for the best they don't speak to each other again.

The episode concluded with Dee-Dee and Adam finding evidence that might keep Damon out of jail.

Will Adam ever find out the truth about his cheating wife?

Viewers were left shocked by Sarah's actions as she seduced by Damon's charm.
