Celeb Bake Off judges in hysterics as Paddy McGuinness accidentally makes very rude showstopper
PADDY McGuinness pulls out his showstopper – with a penis-shaped gingerbread on The Great Celebrity Bake Off.
The Top Gear presenter, 49, presented the phallic structure – intended to resemble Barrow Bridge Chimney in homage to his hometown of Bolton – to judges Paul Hollywood, 57, and Prue Leith, 83.
Serving up his bake – complete with a caramelised strawberry on the top – Paddy said: “What I was looking to do is give you Bake Off’s biggest erection – and I feel as though I have achieved that.”
Earlier in the day, Paddy had a meltdown when his biscuit collapsed in the oven, complaining: “A shaft has collapsed…story of my life.”
Fellow contestant, Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan, 58, was the first to spot something was wrong after looking at his workstation, asking: “What the hell is that?”
Paddy replied: “That’s nice isn’t it? That’s encouraging. ‘What the hell is that?'”
But he quickly spotted something was wrong and swore – with the word being bleeped out on the show.
Pulling the wreckage out, Paddy added: “No no no, that’s not good. I don’t know what to do.”
Flinging the pastry up onto the worksurface, he then tried to look on the bright side.
He said: “Now listen, they’ll never know. Reset.
“I’m going to make another batch. We do again. We do not get stopped by a ginger biscuit.”
Paddy appeared in the famous tent alongside Coleen, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas, 39, and comedian Ellie Taylor, 39, in the Channel 4 show tonight in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
