Daisy Midgeley and Ryan Connor get shocking news in Coronation Street
JUSTIN Rutherford was arrested after attacking Daisy Midgeley and Ryan Connor with a jar of acid.
Next week in Coronation Street, both characters get a shocking update about the trouble character.
Daisy's stalking ordeal reached horrific heights when Justin (former Hollyoaks actor Andrew Still) got his revenge on her wedding day.
The Rovers barmaid portrayed by Charlotte Jordan was saved from the acid by Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) and the hunk was taken to hospital immediately with life-changing injuries.
Justin was eventually arrested all thanks to another ruse from Daisy and he's due to face justice during an explosive trial.
But next week on ITV, Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) is stunned when the unstable Justin pleads not guilty at his plea hearing.

The Weatherfield teacher and journalist braces himself to break the news to Daisy who couldn't face the hearing.
Later on, she calls at the hospital to share the update with an injured Ryan and Alya Nazir (Sair Khan).
The Bistro waiter admits he's scared witless by the thought of having to relive his nightmare in court but Alya assures him that she'll be right by his side the entire journey.
How will she react to him declaring his love for her?
This remains to be seen but, in an attempt to uplift him and boost his confidence, Daisy takes Crystal to see Ryan in hospital.
He thanks her for bringing Crystal in as he reveals that discussing gigs in Ibiza - where he was planning to settle prior to his acid attack - gives him something to focus on and look forward to.

Ryan is in need of a lot of support as doctors in the hospital refuse to discharge him before he's seen his injuries.
He finally brings himself to do so next week with Carla Connor (Alison King) for support.
But when he stares at his face, the surgeon tells him that he's not healing the way they had hoped and he will need a skin graft.
Things go from bad to worse in later scenes when Daisy and Carla find Ryan's hospital room empty and his backpack gone.
A search party is then organised - but will they ever find Ryan?
