Channel 4 line-up in major schedule shake-up tonight with new show airing after Gogglebox
THE Channel 4 line-up is in a major schedule shake-up tonight, with a new show airing after Gogglebox.
A new show named Late Night Lycett will be airing at 10pm, that’s said to have a “whiff of TFI Friday about it”.
The series is presented by comedian Joe Lycett and broadcast from his home city of Birmingham, where Joe, 34, will be joined by celebrity guests and a live audience.
And Joe has revealed that his first guests will be Joanna Lumley, Alison Hammond and Katherine Ryan.
There’s also set to be other guests during the show but they’re yet to be announced.
Joe said: “I’m absolutely psyched and naturally very nervous about hosting a weekly live show from Birmingham, but it has been a dream of mine for many years and I look forward to some (controlled) late night chaos.”

And a Channel 4 spokesperson said: “Following the success of Channel 4’s ‘Joe Lycett’s Big Pride Party’ last year, for which Joe has been nominated for a National Comedy Award, he will be back broadcasting live from his hometown of Birmingham for five weeks.
“Joe will take a look back at the week in a way only he can – combining his unique brand of mischief and mayhem with his singular style of comedy. Shot on the banks of Birmingham’s canals, the show is expected to bring a touch of Hollywood sparkle to Digbeth.”
What’s more, Joe is even giving away his own car as a prize that people will have the chance to win.
It comes after Joe admitted that he’s staring having nightmares about David and Victoria Beckham.

The comedian, 34, called the retired England captain a “disgrace” for signing a multimillion-pound deal to be the face of the Qatar World Cup.
After Beckham failed to step away from his involvement with Qatar, which has harsh anti-LGBTQ laws, Joe filmed himself shredding £10,000 in cash in protest.
He later revealed that the money was fake and part of a publicity stunt.
In an interview with TV Mag, the Travel Man host has revealed a surprising update about his spat with Beckham.
He said: “I’ve started having dreams about David. “I dream that he’s with Victoria and they’re on the escalator in the Birmingham Bullring [& Grand Central shopping centre].”
Late Night Lycett begins on Friday March 31 at 10pm on Channel 4.
