Craig Tinker makes shock confession to Faye Windass in Coronation Street

FAYE Windass was shocked when her daughter Miley showed up in Weatherfield but she's been trying to reconnect with her ever since.

Unfortunately, her partner Craig Tinker isn't completely comfortable with the situation and makes a shock confession in Coronation Street.

The Underworld telesales agent portrayed by Ellie Leach faced motherhood when she was a teenager and, unable to cope with the new responsibilities, gave her daughter up to her paternal grandparents.

Young Miley has been raised in Canada and has lived with her father Jackson Hodge, Faye's former classmate, for most of her life.

But in recent scenes of the ITV program, Miley was taken to Weatherfield as Jackson announced their plans to move to the UK.

Although Faye was initially reluctant, she warmed to the idea of forming a bond with her long-lost daughter.

Next week in the Manchester-based program, Faye asks her partner Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) to come round to meet Miley as she will be visiting her again later on that same day.

The copper is ready to welcome Miley into his own life but how will Faye feel when he tells her his mother Beth will be coming along too?

Beth Tinker was recently thrown in the doghouse for slapping Hope Stape - could Faye accept her around Miley?

While this remains to be seen, Craig is willing to go above and beyond to make Miley feel welcome and when she's due to visit, he lets Faye know he wants to get her a present.

Faye gives him guidance and tells him that she likes basketball but Craig mishears and buys Miley a baseball bat and mitt.

He kicks himself over the mistake and, as they play a game of catch, Craig can see Miley is not enjoying herself.

Faye feels for him but she gets a massive shock as she says goodbye to Miley and Jackson at the team stop.

Craig confesses to her that he feels jealous of Jackson - how will she react?

Could Craig's feelings get in the way of Faye reconnecting with her daughter?
