Mary Goskirk takes brave step with lover Faye in Emmerdale

LOVE is in the cards for Mary Goskirk months after she first came out as a lesbian.

The Emmerdale character portrayed by Louise Jameson makes a move on new love interest Faye.

After opening up about her sexuality to Kim Tate and her daughter Rhona, Mary deemed it was time for her to find herself a new partner.

She thus started dating Faye following an encounter in The Woolpack but the pair have had a rocky relationship from the start.

Thankfully for Mary, things will be looking up in scenes due to air next week on ITV.

Coming up, Faye and Mary open up to one another and become more comfortable, prompting Mary to make an impulsive move.

She tries to kiss Faye... much to the latter's delight.

While their bond is growing, Faye and Mary are still worried about their upcoming date in later scenes of the Yorkshire-based drama.

Faye thinks Mary has stood her up, unaware that she'd actually fallen asleep.

Mary makes it up to her and, while the date is in full swing, she's completely smitten.

This leads to her summoning all her courage and inviting Faye up to the bedroom - but what will be her response?
