She died at home, and was surrounded by family as she was put to sleep by a vet.

Four years before her death, Paul paid £8,000 in treatment for Olga when she was diagnosed with cancer.
O'Grady tragically died aged 67 on March 28, 2023.

What did Paul O'Grady say about Olga?
Paul paid tribute to his dog following her death in 2018.
He said: "She was widely loved. She had her own fan club.
"I'm really sad but there was no choice but for Olga to be put to sleep.
"I knew it wasn't Olga any more, she was a state. I shed my tears earlier on in the week.
"It's heart-breaking, but she had a great life. She loved television studios."
What were Paul O'Grady's dogs called?
O'Grady had five dogs at the time of his death.
They lived with him at the home he shared with husband Andre Portasio.
Their names are Nancy, Arfur, Conchita, Eddie, and Sausage.
As well as Olga, Paul had a rescue dog named Buster, who appeared with him on TV several times.
Sadly Buster died in 2009 from cancer, leaving the Liverpudlian comedian devastated.

Paul dedicated the second volume of his autobiography to Buster in 2011, calling him "The greatest canine star since Lassie".
