Coronation Street’s original Summer Spellman star Matilda Freeman looks completely different three years after exit
FORMER Coronation Street star Matilda Freeman looks unrecognisable from her on screen appearance - three years after leaving the ITV soap.
The 18 year old actress who played Summer Spellman in the soap, took to social media and posted a picture of herself with long wavy red hair, which is a stark difference to when she had blonde hair.

Matilda took the picture when she was at the Lady Lever Art Gallery and captioned the post saying: "It's giving Repunzel but make her a redhead who cries at Finding Nemo & eats too much hummus mid week."
And her fans were amazed with her grown up look. One said: "You're an actual fairy look at you!!!"
Another said: " You should be on display at the art exhibit."
Matilda first appeared on Coronation Street in 2017 but three years later she shockingly quit the soap - stating that she wanted to pursue other projects.

She announced on Instagram: "When you work at Corrie you're under a contract which means you can't work on anything else while you’re there – so it was quite limiting."
At the time Matilda's character was involved in some gripping storylines including Billy Mayhew's drug addiction and Todd Grimshaw's exit.
She was then replaced by actress Harriet Bibby. Last month, Matilda announced that she was set to star in an ITVX drama called Passenger, written by Andrew Buchan.
The show also stars former Corrie star Jack James Ryan.
