Coronation Street legend and 90s pop star reveals wife has given birth to his SEVENTH child and shares first pic of baby
A CORONATION Street legend and 90s pop star has revealed his wife has given birth to his SEVENTH child.
The TV star took to social media to share a sweet photograph of the newborn baby wrapped up in his hospital gown.
Matthew Marsden, who is best known for playing mechanic Chris Collins in Coronation Street, took to Twitter to share the photograph.
The actor, who rose to fame in the breakout role in 1995, went on to launch a singing career with Columbia Records.
Matthew, now 50, even performed alongside R&B legends Destiny's Child on their hit cover track She's Gone.
The father-of-seven, who now lives with his growing brood in Texas, still acts and recently starred in Prime Video show Reacher.

However, it looks as though Matthew will be taking some time out after welcoming his youngest child.
"Hey world," he wrote alongside a snap of the baby, gushing over the child in a second post, writing: "I mean, come on."
His friends and fans rushed to the comments section with one penning: "The best! Congratulations!"
A second chimed in: "Congratulations to you and your wife and family. Gorgeous new addition."
Matthew married his wife Nadine Micallef back in 2005, and the pair now share seven children together.
He has gone on to star in a string of hit films such as Helen of Troy and Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid since his character left the ITV soap in 1998.
Matthew became a US citizen in 2020, announcing the news on Twitter as his army of fans celebrated.
He penned: "For those of you that follow me and know how much I love the USA.... I want you to know that I am now officially an American citizen!" alongside several emojis of the US flag.
Matthew than shared a photo of his Chick-fil-A takeout order and penned: "First meal as a newly minted American."
He then rounded off his celebrations with a doughnut cake which held up the country's flag and thanked his followers for their well wishes.
"You guys made my day even more special with your wonderful comments," he sincerely penned. "Thank you".
Since leaving Weatherfield over two decades ago, Marsden’s film credits include movies such as Tamara, Resident Evil: Extinction, Rambo, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Atlas Shrugged.
The British-born star has previously admitted to having no regrets over leaving the country’s longest running soap.
