BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst posted a grimacing selfie after she was scolded for ignoring a co-star.

Nina, 42, isn't afraid to poke fun at herself on her social media and give BBC Breakfast fans a glimpse at the less glamorous side of her life.

On Thursday, she posted a funny selfie of her soaked through and being lashed by rain while wearing a bright green coat.

With her hair soaking wet, Nina pulled a face to the camera and revealed she had been told off by weather presenter Simon King for not paying attention to his forecasts.

She wrote: "Lambasted @bbc5live by @SimonOKing for not listening to the forecasts enough and bringing on my drowned rat lewk myself luckily I carry it off well."

Nina received plenty of replies from her followers, with one writing: "I don't understand how someone can live in the Manchester area and not just take a brolly everywhere, 365 days a year."

Another added: "Totally owned it" alongside a thumbs up emoji.

A third tweeted: "Still looking good Nina."

Earlier this week, Nina revealed she is pregnant with her third child with husband Ted.

The couple already have sons Digby and Michael and in an Instagram post a few days later, Nina appeared to confirm she is expecting a baby girl.

Nina attended a Self Esteem gig with pals and was filmed dancing along to her track I Do This All The Time.

As she raised her arms in the air and swayed, her friend wrote across her video, which Nina then reshared: "One for the babygirl".

She added: "First gig" alongside a love heart emoji, with the video then panning to Nina's baby bump concealed under a polka dot dress.
