Spud was a huge fan of Hawaii

During Spud’s lifetime, the hamster became an internet sensation after Lisa created various locations out of cardboard for him to explore, including the Corrie set and London.

Lisa wanted to pick a special place to say goodbye so booked a ten day trip with her husband and found the perfect spot on a beach to say goodbye.

She now has a new hamster, who appeared on today’s show – revealing their love for Italy.

The cute pet was seen eating spaghetti in an Italian themed cardboard set.
