EMMERDALE fans all have the same complaint about Manpreet Sharma tonight.

The GP - who is played by actress Rebecca Sarker in the ITV soap - has been through a tough few years with her sister Meena being revealed as a serial killer.

In tonight’s episode she found herself in another scary situation when she arrived at the surgery to discover it unlocked.

Hearing someone in another room, she rushed in and went to search it - not realising villain Alex was hiding behind a curtain holding a crowbar.

Panicking she rushed out before checking if anyone was there - or even calling the police.

Instead she stood outside shaken.

But when Alex appeared and asked her if she was OK, Manpreet didn’t question where he had come from.

Instead she opened up about her fears with him and then took him home for a steadying brew.

He manipulated her into not calling the police before quietly planting the keys he’d stolen onto the floor where he was sitting.

“It still doesn’t explain why the door was open when I got there,” she said.

He told her it could’ve been the electricians who were due to work in the surgery and she bought it.

But fans can’t believe she would be that stupid after all she went through with her sister.

One wrote: "For crying out loud! Manpreet's sister Meena pulled the wool over her eyes for years. Surely she's able to see how shifty Alex is."

A second said: "Manpreet, seriously… put two and two together PLEASE."

Another added: "Come on Manpreet use your head."
