Chloe is currently pregnant with Mackenzie Boyd's baby after a drunken one night stand last year, a fact he is desperately trying to keep from fiancée Charity Dingle.

Her sudden return left him rattled, but she reassured him she was only back for a scan before heading back up North.

However, Emmerdale viewers were distracted by her pregnancy bump - or lack of - considering how long the storyline has been going.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Shouldn’t Chloe actually have a baby bump by now or is she carrying a pancake?”

Another added: "Chloe didn't look very pregnant. Isn't she into her 11th month by now?"

A third tweeted: "She just looks silly and not pregnant at all."

Meanwhile a fellow viewer joked: "Wow even I look more pregnant than Chloe."

Elsewhere, The Sun exclusively revealed how Emmerdale is preparing to deliver an explosive storyline that has one of the soap’s villains returning after ten years.

Killer Carl King’s son Thomas - now known as Tom - makes a shocking comeback next month, a decade since he terrorised the locals following his murderous dad’s death.

A source revealed: “Tom’s return is going to be explosive. He shocks his uncle Jimmy when he returns to the village and it’s not clear why he’s back.

“Fans will be glued to their screens watching Tom’s comeback unfold — and his presence could cause chaos.

“They will all be asking if he’s as evil as his dad Carl and wondering why he’s returned.”
