EMMERDALE fans are in shock after the ending to Leyla Harding’s kidnapping ordeal.
The wedding planner - who is played by actress Roxy Shahidi in the ITV soap - was kidnapped by drug dealer Callum for revenge after she tried to have him sent to prison.
Last night’s episode ended with him attacking her and threatening to kill her - but she was not in a good way tonight.
After successfully faking being injured, Callum took her to the car - and she made a break for it.
Fleeing into the road she narrowly missed Jacob and Suzy driving passed - and he tackled her to the floor before pulling a gun on her and forcing her back into the cabin.
However though it seemed Jacob and Suzy hadn’t spotted them - they had and they let themselves into the cabin to lay in wait.

But when they tried to free Leyla, Callum showed them the gun and they were forced to back down.
They begged for their lives while outside armed police surrounded the cabin.
Suzy appeared to be getting through to him before the police announced themselves and ruined it all.
“Callum we have the building surrounded with armed police officers,” the officer shouted.

After messing about threatening to kill Jacob in front of Leyla, Callum eventually just gave up.
Walking out, he handed himself into the police and was taken away leaving viewers in shock.
One wrote: "Well that ending was predictable and a bit underwhelming."
A second said: "Thank god Callum gone, what a stupid storyline with Leyla. Shan’t be missed."
Another added: "Why didn’t Callum just inject Leyla with a big overdose and get rid of the useless woman? Totally believable."
"If you want to build suspense over Leyla's story, then don't interrupt it. The pacing of this episode is bonkers. The editing team did a very bad job," someone else said.
