It features property owners who are seriously frustrated with their homes.

Whether they've outgrown the space or the house is in need of new decor, or the abode no longer meets the needs of the contestants.

Channel 4 aired a 'new' episode of the programme on Wednesday night - but not all is what it means.

Viewers quickly recognised the episode and slammed the broadcaster for 'pretending' it was new.

Taking to social media, one fan fumed: "Why have you labelled #LoveItOrListIt “NEW” when it is just a rehash of old episodes?"

A second snapped: "No, Ch4, a programme is not “NEW” if it’s an old programme with a new introduction and sign off. It’s a tarted up repeat."

"It's very obvious this is not a new episode Channel 4," commented a third.

While the episode looked familiar to fans of the show, it was a special look back episode at two unfinished projects.

It featured Sue and Roy's bonkers bungalow with a pool in Poole, and Abi and Maddy's emotional rollercoaster of a renovation in Great Bookham.

Love It or List It viewers recently slammed a couple branding them 'fame-hungry' after realising they had seen them on TV before.

The filmmaker and his actress wife shared that they wanted more space and a second bathroom in their four-bedroom property.

With a budget of £45,000 and a £55,000 list it budget the pair wanted to give their home a makeover.

But just minutes into the show, viewers quickly realised they had seen the family on TV before.

The couple had appeared in a TV advert, which aired during one of the breaks in the episode.
