I was on The Apprentice – Lord Sugar and Karren Brady barely speak to us when the cameras aren’t rolling
FIRED The Apprentice candidate Dani Donovan has opened up on her interactions with Lord Sugar and Karren Brady and admitted that neither of them are ones for 'small talk'.
Dani found herself on the chopping block following the latest episode of the show as she was fired by Lord Sugar alongside fellow business hopefuls Megan Hornby and Victoria Goulbourne.
Despite giving it her all in the tough interview stage, it all came crashing down for Dani after errors in the numbers of her business plan left more to be desired from the tough interviewers.
Having spent 12 weeks on the show, Dani insisted there was no off-camera moments and revealed that she never managed to catch Lord Sugar and his aides for a cheeky pep talk.
Speaking to The Sun and other press, the 25 year old exclaimed "absolutely not," when asked if she had the chance to get to know Lord Sugar and Karren on a personal level.
She added: "I don't think they are the people you would make small talk with as hard as we did try!

"I don't think they'd be interested - just as we are there to do a job, they are there to do a job too.
"The camera's are rolling constantly so there isn't really space for an off-camera moment.
"It was always kept very strictly business but I really respect all three of them a lot, one thing I will say is although maybe to the viewers they might look stern and harsh, they were very, very fair."
Dani continued: "There was nothing that went unnoticed, nothing that went unspoken about and there was certainly no pulling the wool over their eyes!

Speaking after her exit, Dani also admitted that Karren would be a perfect replacement for Lord Sugar should he ever choose to step down from the BBC programme.
Dani said: "I think Linda [Plant, interviewer] would be a worthy replacement for Lord Sugar if he gave it up but Karren would also be a very, very worthy replacement.
"She would be an absolute boss babe on there and I think she would be great at that job. She really does know the ins and outs of everything that goes on and she is just as stern!"
Dani also addressed The Sun's story that she had been lined up to appear on Love Island and confirmed she had been approached a number of years ago but admitted that it would not interest her nowadays as she is happily settled with her partner.
The entrepreneur also spoke of the intensity of her final task on the show - the dreaded interview stage.
Speaking to The Sun, Dani said: "The day felt like it went on forever!
"It was all of the anticipation, all of the build-up - I think that was actually worse than the actual interviews themselves because in those interviews you are talking about something you know and love, you are talking about your business."
The Apprentice final episode will air on Thursday 23rd March on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
