The trio took on the challenge of climbing Cairn Gorm Mountain in a bid to raise funds for this year's Comic Relief.

As they set off on the hike they had a tough first day as they sustained injuries.

Emma, 46, was left in pain with her back and shoulders from carrying her heavy bag.

Meanwhile Rylan was suffering with tiredness as he struggled to sleep because he was too big for his sleeping bag.

By the time the second day of the challenge arrived morale between the three celebs was dropping.

Graeme Douglas, who was the expedition leader, decided to give Emma, Rylan and Oti a pick me up.

He treated them to video messages from their loved ones at home who said how proud they were of them.

Rylan heard from his mum Linda, Oti's sister Motsi gave her words of encouragement while Emma heard from her husband Matt.

While they were all left moved by the messages, viewers at home certainly weren't.

They took to social media to vent how the TV stars had only been away from home for two days.

"Crying over messages from home? Battery won't have even worn down on their phone yet," said one viewer.

Another said: "Sorry but they walked 4 miles on a path! Hardly Everest!"

A third fumed: "They've been gone a day but are blubbering about messages from loved ones, remember when they used to do proper challenges?"

While a fourth simply remarked: "Ridiculous".
