Stacey thinks Kat doesn't remember what it is like to be scraping by since she has got together with Phil.

While Kat accused Stacey of being jealous and ungrateful.

Stacey agreed and said she wished she could go on holidays.

She revealed: "Every time I go to bed I am so tired I could cry. Then I wake up and remember I got to do the whole thing over again."

Kat made it clear that she knows what it's like to be "dirt poor," but didn't let her kids walk around in "rags."

A fuming Stacey yelled: "How dare you. You don't know the lengths I've gone to to be around for my kids today."

Kat chimed in: "You're lucky to have me. Your kids deserve more than this pity party."

Stacey then snapped and threw her food - that Kat bought - at Kat.

A shocked Kat subsequently stormed out before telling her cousin: "You're on your own now."

Can Stacey work through her cost of living struggle without Kat's help?

Taking to Twitter, fans were shocked at the explosive scenes.

One said: "The fact that she ended up wearing it too!"

Another wrote: "Jean in a way was right - Stacey should be grateful that Kat is helping her out. I don't like how Kat has used Phil's money to help the Slaters but she's skint herself and using his money in itself is risk she's had to take."

EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday from 7:30pm on BBC One.
