First look at Kate Middleton catching young Prince William’s eye on set of Netflix’s The Crown series six
THE first look at Kate Middleton catching a young Prince William's eye on the set of The Crown series six has been revealed.
The Netflix period drama's sixth and final series is currently in production, with Ed McVey playing the teen version of the Prince.
Meanwhile actress Meg Bellamy, 19, will play his future wife, in what will be her acting debut.
Filming took place at St Andrews in Scotland, which is where William and Kate first met at university.
The scene saw Kate in right lilac running leggings and a matching zip up top, with her dark hair pulled back in a ponytail.
As she ran, she passed William, who wore black jogging bottoms and a navy hoody, as she jogged along with a minder.

The young Royal was then pictured turning around to look back at her as she ran in the opposite direction.
William, 40, and Kate, 41, both studied art history and formed a friendship over the first semester.
The Royal later recalled: "When I first met Kate, I knew there was something very special about her.
"I knew there was possibly something that I wanted to explore there.”

However, it took a while for romance to blossom and it wasn't until they moved into an off-campus apartment a year later that sparks started to fly.
This is despite the fact William tried-and-failed to impress Kate in the kitchen.
William recalled: “I was trying to cook these amazing fancy dinners,”
“[But] what would happen was I would burn something, something would overspill, something would catch on fire.
"She would be sitting in the background trying to help and basically taking control of the whole situation.”
Despite a brief split, the rest, as they say, is history and the couple became engaged in 2010.
They married in 2011 and have three children together; George, Charlotte and Louis.
The Crown series 1-5 are available on Netflix now.
