What happened to Catherine Tyldesley’s character Eva Price in Coronation Street?
LESS than five years have flown by since Eva Price decided to leave Weatherfield.
But what happened to her during her time in Coronation Street? Here's your reminder.
What happened to Eva Price on Corrie?
The younger sister of Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson), Eva Price was portrayed by actress Catherine Tyldesley.
Eva first showed up in Weatherfield in June, 2011, when the Price family took over the Rovers Return Inn and her mother, Stella, managed the pub.
The character moved in amid heartbreak as she'd discovered her fiancé had been having an affair behind her back shortly before.
One month later, Eva suspected Stella was having an affair with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) but this was revealed to be false as Stella announced she was Leanne Battersby's birth mother.

Soon after, Eva found work at Nick's Bistro and got promoted to bar manager but due to her experience as a receptionist, she moved on to become a personal assistant at the Underworld factory in 2013.
Eva also found love in the cobbles on multiple occasions as she embarked on several relationships with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), Rob Donovan and Jason Grimshaw.
In 2016, she became romantically involved with new Underworld boss Aidan Connor and the pair went on to have a rocky relationship.
They most notably helped Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) throughout her ordeal with Caz Hammond and helped clear her name when the hairdresser was accused of her murder.
Eva proposed to Aidan in 2017 and he accepted but the romance turned bitter when she found he was having an affair with Maria.
She enlisted the help of Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) to get revenge on Aidan and the solicitor had the Underworld factory ripped out, including the roof.
Although ready to work on things with Aidan after having a change of heart, Eva is heartbroken when he finds out about her revenge plan and ends things with her.
His father Johnny even reported her to the police and she vowed to take Adam down with her.
This didn't stop the solicitor from developing feelings for her and after a shock admission, the pair kissed and began their own relationship.
In a surprising twist, and after faking a pregnancy, Eva found out later on that she was pregnant with Aidan's child, prompting her to call off her relationship with Adam.
She kept her pregnancy a secret, only letting Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) know about her condition.
Seeing how heartbroken Toyah was when she learned her surrogate miscarried, Eva agreed to take on the role of surrogate herself.
But when she developed maternal feelings for her unborn child, Eva called off the plan and told Aidan she was pregnant.
Sadly, he didn't believe and Eva decided to backtrack, telling Toyah their deal was back on.
Eva gave birth away from the cobbles in secret, pretending she was doing a beauty course in New York.
Toyah and Peter named the baby Susie in honour of the cabbie's deceased twin Susan - but he always thought the new-born was their surrogate baby.
Things took a turn when a depressed Aidan took his own life after sharing an emotional last moment with Eva.
When she returned to the Street hoping to patch things up, she was shocked to find out he had died and slowly grew closer to Susie.
One thing led to another and Toyah was forced to tell Peter that Susie was actually Eva's baby and this contributed to the pair going their separate ways.
Desperate to get custody of her daughter, Eva embarked on a bitter battle with Johnny Connor who even kidnapped young Susie.
Eva decides not to press charges against him but plans to leave with Susie for France - and Adam follows them in secret.
The following week, the trio returned in time for Aidan's inquest and when Eva tells everyone how much she loved and cared for him, Adam opts for staying behind in Weatherfield.
Later that day, Eva and Susie left again, saying goodbye to Leanne and Toyah and making amends with Johnny.
