Babs' Army has helped raise more than £4million since her death in December 2020 to Alzheimer’s disease.
All donations to the charity this year will support EDoN (Early Detection of Neurodegenerative diseases) – the largest initiative in the world that will collect, share and analyse clinical and digital health data to detect diseases like Alzheimer’s.
Scott hopes it will be used by doctors to give an earlier and much more accurate diagnosis of dementia-causing diseases.
With treatments which act earlier in the disease process that means more years of quality life for individuals and their families.
