Laura, 36, made the surprise announcement she is expecting her third child as she wrote a long essay on her social media.

The former Take Me Out: The Gossip host posted a mini album of artistic photographs onto her grid page as she posed in her underwear, showing off her figure.

In the first black and white photo, she held her baby bump as she captioned her post: "I’ve always chosen to keep my pregnancies private for as long as possible.

"Worrying I will get overlooked for work and that it will affect peoples perceptions of my capabilities."

She then gave an update to her 162,000 fans online as she revealed she is well into the third trimester and expects to have her new child next month.

She explained: "To be totally frank (and I have wondered how honest to be here) this has been the longest and most emotional 8 months.

"I have not felt myself from about 6 weeks pregnant. I've had exhaustion, zero energy, crazy hormones, feeling so incredibly lonely in this journey, tears, sickness (leading to hospitalisation), feeling like I've lost my personality, I mean, the list could go on. I wish I could have felt more Rhianna at the super bowl, but sadly not so."

She also admitted that it has been a difficult process for her as she struggles with the changes with her body.

The host explained: "Being able to get pregnant and grow an actual human is of course the most special thing. I know that I'm so lucky.

"However it’s not something my body, mind or hormones seem to enjoy: please tell me I am not alone in not enjoying this?!"

Her famous pals rushed to congratulate the star on her happy news.

Holly Willoughby wrote: "Awww darlin… you are an incredible, gorgeous woman… hugest love to you and that bump… you got this 💪🏼♥️."

Stacey Dooley commented: "❤️❤️❤️ ….not long now sweetheart…."

Laura is happily married to Jonathan Gorrigan with whom she shares two children.

She has a three-year-old daughter Sidney Frances, and she previously gave birth to her second child, a son, Remy James Gorrigan, in December of 2020.

The star managed to keep her second pregnancy secret for six months by cleverly posing for photos on social media in baggy clothing or from behind.

Laura, who also has presenting stints on shows such as This Morning, The Clothes Show and Big Brother's Little Brother, took over as co-host from Zoe Hardman on the ITV2 spin-off in 2015.

However, after six successful years on our screen, ITV decided to axe the show in 2018.

Laura and Jonathan previously tied the knot on a beach in Porthscatho, Cornwall in September 2017.
