HALF of Paddy McGuinness’s BBC shows will not be returning for new runs.
I can reveal the axe has fallen on Catchpoint, which started in 2019, and I Can See Your Voice, which only launched in 2021.
Meanwhile, there are problems blighting the remaining two, A Question Of Sport and motoring favourite Top Gear.
A TV insider said: “This will come as a real blow to Paddy, who’s made a firm commitment to the Beeb since he quit ITV four years ago.
“Both I Can See Your Voice and Catchpoint saw him retain his place as a star of Saturday night TV, something he forged fronting dating favourite Take Me Out on ITV.
“But these axings mean that’s effectively gone, so he’s likely to be looking for new projects to fill the void.

The second and final series of I Can See Your Voice, which also included Amanda Holden, Alison Hammond and Jimmy Carr as judges, aired between October and December.
Series two of Catchpoint was on two years ago, featuring celebrities pairing up in the battle of balls and brains.
Paddy is already reeling from the latest series of Top Gear being placed on hold after co-presenter Freddie Flintoff was seriously injured in a crash during filming.

Let’s hope he still has ITV’s number in his phone.
