The One Show host forced to apologise to viewers after ‘glaring’ blunder from co-star
THE One Show's Jermaine Jenas was forced to apologise on Wednesday night's show following a blunder by his co-host the night before.
He said on the BBC One programme by issuing the statement after fellow host Lauren Laverne made an epic mix-up the night before when chatting to actress Anne Reid.

Anne was appearing on the magazine show to discuss appearing in her brand new play, Marjorie Prime.
But it was when Anne was chatting about her time in Casualty that Lauren made the error.
Having introduced Nigel Harman as the newest actor to be on the show, Lauren incorrectly identifed one of the show's former stars.
Kicking off the programme today, Jermaine said: "Before we go, we'd just like to say we're really very sorry for an error in last night's programme.

"We showed a scene from Casualty featuring Anne Reid and wrongly mentioned that Paterson Joseph was in the clip as well.
"It was, of course, Patrick Robinson, who famously played, Martin Ashford.
"Patterson played Mark Grace later in the 90s, our apologies Patrick."
At the time of the blunder airing on Tuesday evening, fans were quick to pick up on the error online.

While another quipped: "The One Show. Lauren Laverne intro to classic 1992 clip from Casualty with guest Anne Reid stupidly mistook Patrick Robinson for Paterson Joseph."
During the segment, it was confirmed that ex-EastEnders star Nigel would be joining Casualty.
In a statement, he said: "I'm honoured and grateful to be joining the cast of Casualty. Many pals have donned the famous scrubs over the years and had a ball, so for me it was an easy decision."
